Office’s attitude in building details is discussed. Well recognized works between the period from “Silver Hut - house of the architect” (1984) to “Sendai Mediatheque” (2001) are depicted here with drawings and photographs. The selected projects carry representative building details that arise from four conceptual visions that we have developed during the past thirty years; “Toward light structure”, “translucent screens”, and“challenges to residential buildings” etc,.
